Electric Winches Helical / Worm Gear Electric Winches - Series 477

Series 477 electrical winches feature cast aluminum construction for lightweight strength and durability. Helical/worm gears operate in an enclosed oil bath to provide accurate operation. Sealed roller bearings ensure smooth, efficient operation. An internal mechanical brake delivers load control for lifting applications. Model 4771 includes a 115 volt single phase motor with 8 foot power cord and pendant control switch. Model 4771AC is equipped with a 115/230 volt single or three phase motor. Model 4771DC is powered by a 12 volt DC motor.

Helical / Worm Gear Air and Hydraulic Winches - Series 477

The 477 Series winches share all the important features of the electric models, including cast aluminum construction for lightweight strength, helical/worm gearing for accurate and dependable operation, sealed roller bearings for smooth operation, and internal mechanical brakes for load control in lifting applications. The 4771PN is equipped with an 8-vane air motor, ideal for use in most explosive environments. The 4771HY is powered by a generator type hydraulic motor to smooth operation and variable speed control of loads.

Electric Motor Controls

These single speed reversing motor starters are designed for use with Tern electric power winches. UL and CSA recognized components are housed in a NEMA 4 rated enclosure for watertight protection. Controls feature overload protection and a 115 volt, 2 amp fused control circuit. Pendant control switches are included on up to 50 feet of cord.

Worm / Spur Gear Electric Winches - Series 4WS

Series 4WS winches combine worm and spur gearing for maximum power in a flexible and economical design. Worm gears operate in an enclosed oil bath. Winches are powered by 208/230/460 volt three phase, TEFC, class B insulated motors. Electric brakes are available for load control in lifting applications. Controls are sold separately.
